Not sure where to post this as this is very much a downgrade but there is no longer a $5 option for the 50/50. $10 for three numbers is your lowest price option and they added a $100 option.

You missed the "gun to my head" thread.
How is the observation deck restaurant ?
This is an accurate description.Overpriced buffet, uncomfortable seating, ambience that makes mall food courts seem like fine dining.
Can confirm!Overpriced buffet, uncomfortable seating, ambience that makes mall food courts seem like fine dining.
So, do we know if there's anything "new" for home games this year? New displays, food items, pre-game productions? They always do new videos... anything that uses the rink surface as a canvas as the more "advanced" arenas do?
...and no, I do not expect (nor do I want) anything approaching what Vegas does.
That's the option I always choose as well. They still have the $0 option. That's the one I always choose, but I'm one of those crazy people that views gambling as voluntary taxation.
At the prices they charge for beer, I'm waiting for this VIP service:I'm still waiting for beam technology to bring food servers to your seat.

Well, at least we get the cutting-edge LED bracelets for the home opener (and, you guessed it... refrigerator magnet schedules!)I can pretty much guarantee that the rink surface will never be used for for projection mapping awesomeness aside from maybe the home opener and even then it's pretty tame compared to other venues. Friends of mine in projection mapping video and VR pitched Kyle Balharry at True North Production and he rejected the idea pretty quickly, I'll paraphrase what he told them; "Fans in Winnipeg don't need flashy graphics like that, all we need is the occasional bobblehead, that's all they want."

He isn't wrong. I want the games to start somewhat promptly and I want to watch hockey, not waste 15 minutes with an IMAX movie on ice followed by poor dinner theatre performances. I'll take the bobblehead, thanks.
I doubt I am in the minority.

congratulations!I'm conflicted, we're capable of better production values then we do right now, we could easily rise to the level of the Canadiens or the Canucks who do this type of stuff in the same duration as our preshow videos but they include an on ice portion
I would rather have a bobble head than a dancing laser polar bear on the ice between periods
