MTL Fans in WPG- Autographs (Post Practise)

Anyone in the Winnipeg area gonna try and get autographs today or tomorrow? I believe they have a practise at 2pm.

The only one there.

My plan successfully failed and I learnt I'm the worlds worst stalker. Intended to try and get some auto's from les habs.. Unintentionally met Marc Bergevin in wpg square, I understand how lil girls react to the beebs.. pretty much speechless! Then confidently met a guy from highschool I hadn't seen in 6 years, a very brief conversation. So I ended up running back to the hotel to see the bus roll in and I only could watch Michel, and every player get off the bus.. ******, but eh.. at least I saw them! Ryder was wearing a toque for all you insiders haha. Thinking this was the end of my lil adventure, I turned around and ran into Dave Stubbs and chatted with him for a bit.

Another small tidbit. I asked Dave to sign my jersey, just to get some sort recognition for todays events. In saying that tho, Stubbs is my favourite habs journalist by far so it would of meant something.. If it was Wilde, I would never of thought to ask him. Anyways Dave refused to sign it, because of the respect for the jersey. "I just can't do it" and I nothing else for him to sign. All in all I respect him more for that action!

you say that, but thats what I said to myself when I was driving there. I had a ****ing conversation of him and me in my head on the drive.

It happened so quickly! I wasn't expecting to run into him in the wpg foursquare corridors (I wasn't expecting to see him period), with him walking against me. All I mustered out, was "Marc Bergevin?" He nodded, said how are you quietly and then GONE all in a 4 sec glimpse of him. I've had so many "what if's" since this afternoon. Anyways, my advice always be ready!

I hope you do meet him one day and ask him all your questions, cause I would be very interested in what he would of said.

A friend of mine ran into Therrien at Earls on Main, said he talked to him briefly and got a picture. So that's pretty cool.

Pretty sure MB was walking at full pace once he realized you recognized him. Probably would have stopped for a couple of sentences earlier - now wants to GTFO of any possible fans with questions. Not cuz he's messed up, just cuz he knows what the questions would be and right now the answers are hard to defend beyond, just chillax, it'll work out.
