A guy who looked promising when he was young, and then just ended regressing into a useless warm body. Don't even know when he's on the ice.

Interesting that the Habs collect low-end ex-Sens: Tierney, Hoffman, Wideman, Dadonov,

Meanwhile the Sens collect French-Canadian players: Giroux, Chabot, Brassard, Joseph, Hamonic, Gauthier.

Just a neutral comment; Habs collect unwanted players to fill roster spots during the rebuild which makes sense.

Well, Giroux is franco-Ontarian, to him Ottawa is his home team.... and the Sens do have a fair number of francophone fans, including the whole Gatineau area, so keeping an eye open for players who will appeal to that fanbase makes sense.

Errrhhmmm the Canadiens would be the most popular team in Gatineau by somewhere between a decent margin and a significant margin.

For sure... .but Ottawa has a French-speaking community, too. Announcements are in both language in the former Corel Center...

Not sure people realized how ridiculous it is again this year for Montreal. We are making a run at beating last year injuries record...

Right now:
Caufield
Dach
Monahan
Armia
Gallagher
Guhle
Xhekaj
Wideman
Edmundson
And i feel like im forgetting 1 or 2

Not counting Byron and Price

Imagine waking up in florida and by the end of the day telling your wife we're moving to Montreal in the middle of February :(

Part of the job. He and his wife should thank their lucky stars he is making 750,000-1 million per year playing hockey. And it won’t be that high for much longer, probably.

Yeah, it's a trend that comes and goes, just like the Habs francophone content goes up and down through the years. They are the only 2 Francophone markets, although you might include Winnipeg, but much smaller community.

You do realise that those teams laval and trois-riviere have to ice a team you can't recall all their players.
Plus, we're hoping Laval makes the AHL playoffs and gives a few kids there some playoff action.... calling up too many players will make that impossible.

Evans and Slafkovsky. I suspect it is this bad because the season is meaningless to the organization. Otherwise, a few of these names would probably be playing through injuries.

Montreal getting a bit of that Karlsson trade for the lolz.

4th C depth, 750k, whatevs.

Watch him play and get 6 points in 4 games and Hughes trades him at TDL for a 2nd rounder LOL

Stranger things have happened!
Bergevin did well on that front in the past selling high just after getting for real cheap... Kovalchuk, Scandella come to mind.

Only a week to go before TDL, will be tough!
