Hi All,

First of all, sorry if this kind of question has been asked here several times. Tried to search the forum with no luck (could be my skills though).

I'm visiting MSG for the first time in January to watch NYR-Islanders on Jan 13th.

I can't decide which seats to look for as it is hard to justify how close I get to the ice from pictures/virtual tours of MSG. Therefore I would appreciate some advice from your guys that actually have been there.

I would like to sit center ice and as close as possible still being able to have a good view of the play on the whole ice. The mid to end of the 100s, first couple of rows of the 200s or the chase bridge is what looks good from pictures but what do you guys recommend?

Comings from Norway and having played for the same Norwegian club as Zuccarello (Frisk Asker) this is something I'm really looking forward to.

Thanks for your advice in advance guys!

I have seats in the lower rows of 223 and I love it. I would say that depending on how tall you are, the bridge starts getting in the way of the jumbotron around row 15 (thus a different price point).

Sitting in the lower level, I can't really give you good advice as some people love sitting up close and many like sitting a little over the glass.

My favorite places to site are the 223-224-225 sections and the center ones on the other side of the arena.

My tickets are in the last row on the blue line and I can see the whole ice without an issue. Can't see the scoreboard because of the bridge, but there are tv's on the bridge that act as the scoreboard.

Love the Chase Bridge, but it's pricey, so better save it for solid matchups!

100s are so pricy, but if you can afford, go for rows 8-18

Like guys above I sit low center 2d tier

1st 10 rows of upper deck if you can,
224 or 211 are right at center ice,
but 210, 212 ,223, 225
Should all met your expectations

Agreed even though greedy suits raised prices about ~28% over last 2 offseasons
$119x2x44 is pushing my limits ...

When I saw the prices 2 years ago, I am wondering how most of you ppl can afford those ticket prices for every game at MSG :D

I have tickets for NYR - NJD game on DEC 9th in Sect 227 (Row 8) .. for around 175 USD / Ticket and that'S ridiculous.

If I compare to prices here in Germany, I would be able to have premium suits for around 100 EUR :D

I was sitting in Section 227 2 years ago and this was absolutely fine.

Depends what you are looking for. If you are looking for a 1 game experience the 100s, rows 15 and above are great. You are close to the ice for pictures, there are more amenities, depending on where you sit but you can still see the game well. You are going to shell out bucks which is why most of us who go to multiple games do not do it.

The 200s are great and give you a great view of the game for a more modest price but you are a bit farther.

Generally when I am traveling for a game, I buck up for a better seat but to each his or her own.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'll look for first row in the 200s or upper rows in the 100s, both center ice. It's the only NYR game I'm going to this season, so it is ok for me to throw in some extra. I'll continue watching stubhub, Ticketmaster etc or maybe post in the tickets wanted in here. Thanks again!
