I don't think this means anything. Mrazek just plain sucks right now. He used all his given chances to play well and got absolutely outplayed by Kallgren.

The 1.25M extra cap space will be nice. Mrazek can work on his game with the Marlies and hope he finds a new home.

But most importantly he's done with the Leafs

It would be a pretty Leafy thing to get not one but two useless players in a deal while everyone else is adding impact players.

Don't think I've hated a goalie the Leafs have had more than Mrazek since Trevor Kidd.

Wow man, we've had a lot of crappy goalies since Kidd. For me it's Raycroft ... easily, because we gave up maybe the best goalie prospect in hockey at the time.

Either way, people might look at Mrazek struggling and equate it back to a Freddie Anderson and Reimer situations where they struggled in T.O. and think Mrazek can turn it around on their team.

Campbell now sees that he's the bonafide #1. This puts more pressure on him. Jack doesn't seem to handle pressure very well as we've seen the last few months.

For all the slack I give to Dubas, I gotta say I always appreciate his mentality to admit he's wrong and do what has to be done. Didn't think he had it in him.

Lots of people in his positions are too stubborn and double down on their poor desioin. Dubas keeps making changes when he messes up and I'll always appreciate that!

I was never that excited about the signing but it’s hard to imagine he would put up the worst numbers of his career here to be waiver consideration.

It’s like he and Ritchie hat couldn’t handle the spotlight in Toronto

I really tried to give him a fair shake and defended him here after his first 5-6 games and tried to lean on his history as a 910 career guy who’s has been to a conference finals and won rounds in the post season.
This final run with the absolute gong show against Arizona and then again on Sunday in Hamilton spelled the end.
I still think he’s a 910 nhl goalie that just doesn’t go away in 15 games but it wasn’t working here and this teams not currently in the business of helping players get their games turned around, especially in net.
Excited to see who the replacement is, fingers crossed for Varly

It may not be relevant, but Mrazek has a ten team no trade list. If the Leafs have a deal agreed to with another team that is on the no trade list, this is one way to enable the trade to go through. (Arizona???)
