Nope because that was about last night.

Last night he let in 3 goals on 9 shots, a piss poor performance.

Tonight is a completely different night and is not relevant to last night.

Him being solid tonight doesn't mean he wasn't piss poor last night.

Nor does him being piss poor last night mean he hasn't been good tonight
Which is why I told you to use a larger sample size like his SEASON SAVE PERCENTAGE to evaluate his play

I'm not going to ignore weeks of shitty play.

He was solid last night, maybe he's coming out of this slump but it's also NJ so I'm not willing to say Jack is back yet.

The problem seems to be you are ignoring weeks of supberb play. Overall this season he has been excellent. The past 6 games before tonight he struggled

Months of play > weeks of play

I suspect you don’t do a lot of evaluations in your professional life

“My investment portfolio is down this quarter time to sell everything!”

Even though he let in 3 and 'only' had a .903, I did feel this was his best game. He made a ton of huge saves and kept the Leafs in it despite Carolina's constant pressure. Still some awkward looking moments but getting better every game as he shakes off the rust.

Not really a surprise. He's a good goalie. A good 1B.

Potentially concerning though one wonders how much the inability to get into a consistent groove is playing a factor? This stupid schedule I know makes it difficult on me as a fan and could potentially do similar to a player and their ability to be in sync. Over that stretch the breaks have been 3 days, 3 days, 4 days, 4 days, 7 days, 5 days.

11 million for a guy who wont score again, OK!!

Players can go on slumps but goalies can't, gotcha.
Well most past goalies slumped hard then got traded. Roy comes to mind, but you will see once confidence has switched from one goalie to another they don't hang around much longer. While crap teams year in and out switch tenders like it's a fad.

He was ok, just ok.

Can we waive him?

I'm not a huge Mrazek guy, I don't really love his adventurous style, I didn't like the early goal allowed, the third goal looked like a team mess. But goalies don't lose jobs losing 3-2 games.

What about with an .899 save % after 9 games and making 3.8M for the next 3 years?

I’m not a big Mrazek guy like I said but like you said 9 games on a three year contract.

How many games would Mrazek need to cost this team before you can objectively see what everyone else already sees? Just curious. 50?
