I’m not sure how much longer you go with this Mrazek experiment…

Considering the other guy is that much worse, probably a lot longer.

There should be no help coming from Dubas. It is time for this team to earn their keep and perform, even in the face of injury and adversity. Mrazek is much better than a sub .900 goalie, just like Campbell is too. We have one of the best teams in the league playing in front of them. Goaltending is the only reason this team is not the best team in the East right now.

If fans keep turning to the GM to solve problems that players and coaches need to start solving, then we are not winning any Cups. **** happens, and Dubas built this team well enough to deal with it if the players step up. He can't force guys to step up.

I still think Mrazek is a lot better than this and at some point this season (if given more than a few spot starts every blue moon) he’ll go on a bit of a run.

Two things frustrating about him though is that his erratic style is made to look even worse when he plays and looks like a 5’9” goalie when he is somehow 6’2”. You would never know that with how small he plays in the net.

Mrazek is gone, possibly to Montreal. That sheds 3.5 more mil cap. Its likely why they brought Hutton in. Mrazek sucks anyway.

Not sure he's gone but u have to realize the team that let him go too freddy Anderson back
Dubas needs to fix this 1 like Ritchie
This goaltending is unacceptable

Mrazek isn't even a reliable backup goalie never mind expected to be part of a 1A/B starter tandem.

His over aggressive style of play in the crease causing him to lose the net and overplay consistently as opposed to protecting shooing angles and facing shooters square on makes him very unreliable and untrustworthy in big games.

With the Leafs playing so poorly defensively recently it only exposes him more to criticism because of the type of chances the team in front of him is surrendering.

To think the Leafs are only saving $700k cap by paying him $3.8 mil X 3 years to post 3.16 GA/g & .890 sv% in 10 starts, while they let their former starter Anderson go making $4.5 mil X 2 years and positing 2.12 GA/g and .927 sv% in 36 starts. :help:

If the playoffs started next week the Leafs the way they're playing now (which is a non playoff successful style) they would be swept away quick. IMO

Stop with blasting of Mrazek .. only real issue here was giving him 3 years term .. we only needed a 1 year plan .. he is an OK nhl tender who can play backup role fine

Andersen was no longer going to cut it here. Quit the revisionist theories.

I do think Mrazak needs a run of games to get a rhythm.

We are in no danger of missing the playoffs and no real chance to improve who we get as our 1st round opponent.

There’s no chance in hell Montreal is touching Mrazek. I highly doubt anybody would trade for 3+ years of him. He’s buyout material. Dubas was high giving him that contract.

Mrazek still sucks.

It’ll be extremely difficult to move him, but one saving grace may be that most guys the Leafs move, no matter how shit they are here, seem to find their games once they’ve moved on. Andersen, Ritchie, Barabanov, Marchement, etc.

I think we're stuck with this tandem this post season. Mrazek is untradable for now, and Campbell was a vezina tier all star the first half the season.

I think it is what it is. We have to ride Cambpell in the playoffs and hope he returns to form. If he gets injured in the playoffs? Well, there's always next year.

I don't think the Leafs season should be Mrazek's personal runway for success. If he can't play, find a way to bury him. It's not amateur hour.

I thought so too a few weeks ago, but completely change my mind. His lack of stability was called out indirectly by Keefe when he commented on Kallgren's debut. Mrazek is a demotivator and makes the team around him worse just by being there. The confidence of this group is going to be destroyed if you give Mrazek a run of games.

I was on the side of being pragmatic looking at historical evidence that clearly shows he’s an nhl quality tendy who can play on good teams, but that just isn’t the case right now and this team’s combination of expectations and past experiences make having him back there “figuring it out” with the deadline a week away a complete no fly zone as far I’m concerned. The time to “figure it out” has long come & gone.

Yep. You just want a goalie who is professional and provides predictable, stable hockey. No one has time for Mrazek to figure things out. He's singlehandedly giving away points with his trash goaltending. How many unexpected, unpredictable goals go in past this guy every game?

I have literally never watched an NHL goaltender who is this awful, and I've seen many bad goaltenders (Toskala, Gustafvson, Raycroft, Reimer).

Just waive him. Don't let him board the bus back to Toronto.

Every single person on this team should public bury him, make him feel like absolute shit because he deserves that. If I was ownership I would be forcing Dubas to acquire a goalie.
