I wouldn't mind trading Hutson because he's very talented, but smallish without elite skating.
I love his extraterrestrial creativity and quantic hockey processor.
But at the end of the day the goal is to build a Cup winner and I'm not sure Hutson will be a good playoff performer.
According to what we're seeing right now in the playoffs, it takes big guys on the rear end. Small guys gets crushed around and tends to fall short compared to their regular season standards.
Habs will draft top 5 and would prefer to take a forward. Thing is there's good chances that at this point of the draft, BPA will be a LHD (if Demidov and Lindstrom are gone).
Buium is a dominant player, an attested winner. His profile is +/- a Hutson with 2 " taller and 20 pds heavier.
Plus he's a better skater and much better defensively.
If I was HuGo, I'd wait at the draft to see what's available at 5 and if Demidov and Lindstrom are gone, I would seriously consider to add Hutson to the Winnipeg 1st pick in order to obtain an earlier pick.
And with the 5th pick, I'd draft one of the dominant LD available.
As far as I'm concerned it should be Buium, but Silayev/Dickinson would be ok for me too.
