Next game decides whether Keefe has what it takes(because i believe there is enough good pieces for Leafs to win this series). You lose that game and they'll be done(and then he should be too). He's had now enough different looks to know what actually works and what doesn't. Even if Game 1 wasn't best for Tampa, it was certainly a much better type of game for the Leafs and the way they shouuld be playing(ton of speed, aggressive forecheck, proper positioning, etc). It was nice and balanced.

Like game 3, the Point line was able to shut down Matthews and Marner. I honestly think you need to separate them in order to maximize the offence you get.

But he's been the same way for years. Soft as butter, absolutely refuses to take a hit, under any circumstances. Keefe should play that in the team's next video meeting just to call him out for it. If he feels enough shame maybe he changes his ways. Highly doubt it, but that lay up is completely inexcusable in the playoffs.

I just don't understand how, after all of this time, all of the embarrassing ways they've found to lose, all the blown leads, the blown series, the losing deciding games, the amount of times they've had to stand in front of a camera and say "we need to be better" or "we need to learn from thes" or "we didn't come to play", that games like this continue to happen.

Sure, you're gonna lose games. You're gonna lose against the Champs. But you find a way to compete. You look like you give a f***. You do anything, literally anything to affect the team you're going to play in two days time. You do something that won't help win the battle, but win the war. Anything.

But this team, just doesn't do any of that. Ever.
