If they could only play like game one, I never seen so much speed and willingness to take hits and give hits. Who cares if you run up the penalties. You need to fight, your way out. It's honestly time to change things up a little with the JT line and shake the d pairings. If Holl is dressed again, this will be a quick 6 for the lightning.

Not dirty or menacing. Stupid and inexperienced. Not good at the sneaky little things that don't get called, and not enough experience, especially compared to Tampa players, in not crossing the line.

Sneaky calls aren't the job of the player, it's the job of the refs to call it by the books and not be a fool. Call the dive over and over.

I feel I am.(was) watching 1990s NBA or 1980s.WWF and the script is written before the match even begins.

Reminds me of the ump recently who was accurate on only 65% of Jay strike zone calls. It's either incompetence or something more nefarious, neither should allow for continued employment in an officiating capacity.

I know it is only sports, but it is big business and the example should be set, espeically for younger fans.

A lot isn't sneaky by TB, it's ignored. Plenty of baffling situations and calls tonight by the officials that we've routinely been called for.

Doesn't matter because it was a blow out, but it was a poorly called game
The only non-call I really objected to was the slash after the icing late in the game.

Other than that, some got missed (Perry holding the stick - he's sneaky good), and we took a lot of really bad ones. Again, it's knowing what you can get away with.

Put the 2 tough guys back in the lineup after a chat from the coach. They are a different team when they think someone has their back. You don't win if you play scared.

Rielly -4
Matthews -3
Marner -3
Our best players were our worst +/- !

Spezza is done. Put Lily back where he belongs, on the ice, instead of Holl.

It's a poorly called game with some blatantly obvious missed.

The hold on Kase leading to a double minor isn't sneaky, it was blatant. The tackle on maythews wasn't sneaky, it was blatant. The one handed grab on Holl late in the second isn't sneaky, it's the same hold they called all series. Points isn't even worth mentioning.

It's a fuzzy standard that changes based on who is doing it, not how they're doing it, sadly. They aren't sneaky unseen penalties, they are obvious calls being ignored and many other ticky tack guesses being made (both ways) because of it

If a player holds another player's stick in such a way that the ref can't see it, is that sneaky by the player or the ref being a fool?

Well, Simmons strong point isn't tact.

I agree. But Keefe had no problem speaking candidly to the media about scratching Liljegren due to his perceived struggles. I think it’s fair game for reporters, who are seeing the same things we are all seeing, questioning him to understand wtf is going on to have Holl start on the road in a game like this. Especially when these decisions are clearly hurting the team.

Both. That doesn't address Perry flopping like a weak minnow two seconds after Tavares tapped his well manicured,.Palmolive hands and the supposed ref deciding."yeah, that's a legitimate penalty".

The game is looking blatantly peculiar...

They were down 3-0 first 10 minutes. It had nothing to do with PP
We werent mentally ready. We never are in important game

We are always reactive. Campbell sucked. He always looks so small.
Yes Stamkos goal was screened but he saw the movement, good goalies anticipates that play and comes out of the crease. He was deep

The goal maroon scored, I mean just stay with the play. Why was he flopping and doing a butterfly. Dude

If Matthews is not going to engaged, we are fked

Spezza is done. Sooner we can accept that the better

You can dress Clifford and not play him. Hell do something stupid maybe but at least hes doing something and trying

When this team is on everybody is on. When they are off they are off. To me thats on coaches.

He should have called a timeout after 2nd goal. What was he waiting for ?

Why are the medias using killer instinct? It is Game 4 of a 7 games series and the Leafs was not leading 3-0.

I referenced the calls not having an impact on the outcome a few times already

No doubt. NHL officiating is the worse in any major sports

I mean that Perry dive. Like bro there are 4 of you and you cant see that ?

Unreal bs officiating

Its simple really.

Show up on time.

It was like a beer league team vs an all star team at the start.

We can go in and out, about the positioning of this team tonight, OR, we can just f"ing start on time.

This is everything, this is why you play all year, this is the point of every game, this is what 50% of the league wish they could experience.

Do not let it go, without leaving everything on the ice. If you do, you'll regret it forever.

I expect the moon next game, and the game after that. And if you see 7, you better see demons.
