Two came to my mind, Ulf Samuelsson knocking out Janet Gretzky, and Mike Modano stretcher falling after him getting knocked out by Mark Messier.

How about two surreal things in the same game....bench-clearing brawl in international hockey, which was unbelievable. And then somebody kills all the lights in the arena.

I was watching the game; it really was surreal, completely bizzare, and unforgettable.

And that goddamn bastard Turgeon....!

The heavy fog game with the bat if we take a bit of a literal way:

First one that came to mind for me.

I know there’s an old Sportsnet top 10 fitting the topic quite well.

I like the time a fan was caught on tape mocking Mike Sullivan after he’d been clipped with a high stick to his face, then later on in the game, that same fan gets karma handed to him when he’s spotted getting helped to a towel to his bleeding face by presumably his girlfriend, having himself been struck by an erratic puck off the boards. Sullivan skating past the guy with some remarks of his own, and the reaction of the guy and the girl just loving it, laughing and giving Sullivan thumbs up, just priceless:

I feel bad for Modano when he got hit by Messier, but I also thank God for that clip because Modano getting stretcher-dropped by the medics is the single funniest thing I've ever seen in my life...

Rich Peverley having a heart attack on the bench and the game being stopped (then postponed and resumed later).
Yeah, the Peverley thing was the first thing that came to mind. That was the game I was watching that night and I was just sitting there in silence. The day before I was just talking with someone who knew Pevs personally and he was telling a couple stories and what not, so it just hit me a little more in that already scary moment...

It might be the most eerily quiet I have ever heard an NHL arena...

When I saw the female stressing one the first thing that popped into my head is some kid saying, "Is that you grandma?!"

The Pittsburgh real-penguin thing is both funny and sad... Apparently, the Pens' brass were not aware that real penguins did not live in the Arctic around "igloos".

The early-1970s' streaking thing is so funny and... weird. What were people thinking back then?

Judging by the photo above (from the awesome @Robert Gordon Orr post), the more recent Calgary streaker didn't have the biggest "package" in the world and thus may have been ill-advised to streak...

This thread should come with a tag:

"You are about to read content that will bum you out"

Yeah poor Pete 😢, that broke my heart because i love Penguins, that's why Pittsburgh is my favourite team...
There was a movie I saw about Brian Spencer once and pretty much the only two scenes I can remember from it are one where he's giving an in-game studio interview and he bashes the Penfuin nickname and asks "What does a Penfuin do? It just waddles around!" and priceed to start actually wailing like a penguin.

In the other scene, he's in prison and a the guard asks him what team he played for and he says, "The Leafs, Islanders, Sabres and Pittsburgh. "

Maybe less in the context of the game (or the era), but the game Mike Milbury was hitting a fan with his own shoe in the stand... with the mustache security guard trying to stop him:

Do feel like something you would only see in the Semi-Pro hockey league...

Which is where Mike Milbury's maturity level was better suited.
