Looking back at the rosters of Team Canada those past years, most of the name if not all rings a bell to the fans, or at least those who have a strong interest in the World Junior Championship. Even if it's not every player that made it to the NHL, most of them were at least highly regarded prospects and had a decent career somewhere else in Europe.

But some other names... just doesnt ring any bell. Players that had an average career in the junior, and never really made it as a profesionnal neither. Alexandre Rouleau on the 2003 squad is one name. He played every game, as a dman, even though his stats that year (19 points in 31 games) werent very good. He stopped playing hockey 4 years later, after playing only a handful of games in the AHL.

Forward Brett Sonne is another total obscure player to me. Played all game in 2009, along with Tavares and Subban, and quickly vanished into oblivion. Stopped playing less than 4 years after. He had 100 points that year, but as an overager.

I'm looking for other exemples. Could be from other teams.

Now this is a bizarre post — you are claiming that Rouleau retired in 2007 and Sonne in 2013. Rouleau played until 2012 and even represented France in that year's World Championship. Meanwhile Sonne is still playing, currently in France. He has in fact played in no less than seven countries after leaving North America in 2013.

You should focus to their season, when they were selected. For example Brett Sonne had 100 points in WHL. So, there isnt any issue with him.

More strange is Adrian Aucoin in 92/93. He didnt have any league team. He played for Team Canada some International games.
