The handling of Niku has been fine this year. At times he has shown he belongs, other times he is completely over his head. You cannot just throw him in and burn his confidence; the Oilers do a fine job at that. Besides, has the Jets coaching staff/management not done a good job with other prospects that have earned their way? Nik projects to be a solid dman and the Jets staff are handling it as they should. Morrow being out will be a nice window for Niku to show his consistency and progression. I hope he does well and stays.
