Frost has been healthy scratched the last 3 games, and there appeared to be issues with Torts last season too it seems to be only a matter of time before something happens between Frost and Philadelphia.

The Leafs need a center.

There would appear to be a fit.

The Athletic article is from Kevin Kurz, and I don't recall his track record being any better than Frank. Tea leaves suggest Kurz is more likely to be correct in the long run, but it's got little to do with his credibility as a reporter.

It shouldn't be, but the Flyers are very poorly managed, and they hold grudges against their own personnel like no other team in hockey.

I'd want more, but I fully expect to be badly disappointed when we do inevitably let him go for a song.

I don't think Frost value is particularly high, but Robertson has 1 goal all year, I know you are waiting to hear about the assists, there are no assists.

1 goal that's it, and that came in a 6-2 loss to Columbus.

It's really weird with Robertson because hedoes have somet

last year he scored 14 goals in 56 games, he looked like a 20-25 goal guy.

This year? NOTHING.

If Robertson is all it took to get Frost, I think that would be a steal for Toronto.

Maybe even a late 2nd since I think Frost would be a good fit here.

Robertson was on pace for 39 points just last season and he did it while averaging 11:23 TOI. Frost averaged 15:50 last season and paced for 47 points.

If I hid the names above, you’d take Robertson.

I don't really see Frost as a good fit for the Leafs. He's very much not the right type of Center for their real needs. He's much more of a "tweener" on a good team - needs top minutes and linemates to be productive, but isn't really good enough in them to be a quality Top-6C. Matthews stuff aside, that's not what the Leafs really need imo.


But then, if all it "costs" is Robertson or something...why not i guess. That's basically free, and he'd certainly be better than no additional center at all.
