Tough day for the insane people who want Igor and Fox traded. Validating day for the people who think ice dancers like Panarin, Zibanejad and Lafreniere are the problem.

Nothing changes. More trades are coming and the Rangers will be a better team by selling.

This game was an interesting one. Some could say we sucked but it was a battle and we won the battle. We played pretty hard at times and it was a good win. Feel the vibrations. I know its Bostons song but f*** Boston.

That was a chore. We were terrible, the Pens weren't much better but their goalie was worse, and the refs were crap. At least they got the game out of the early...

Shesty was very good after the first goal. Cuylle was trying all night. Vesey's goal was nice. Fox was solid and so was Borgen. Miller (both) had their moments.

We need to find a Borgen level player for Fox, just someone who can be calm and sensible and positionally sound.

Panarin and Laf need to pull their heads from their asses. Terrible games from both.

Get rid of Lavi, but if you aren't going to do that at least remove Housley and bring in someone who can establish an effective defensive scheme

This team gets destroyed in the underlying metrics because our top paid offensive players are so bad they never are able to play offense. And when they are forced to defend they are butter soft. They have to move Panarin and Mika (and Kreider by extenstion) if they ever want to change the apathetic culture of the team

Miller is a stud as was stated before. He's a bull on the ice with skill and makes a ton of great small plays around the ice. The thing that stands out so largely is that when he chips the puck he actually follows up the chip to get the puck instead of staring at others hoping they do the work.

Trocheck has limitations offensively and possession wise that are helped a ton when he's with Panarin no think they need to keep those two together and pair laffy with Miller.

Panarin Trocheck Smith

Cuylle/laffy Miller laffy/Cuylle

Kally zib Berard

Kreider is basically a 4th line power play specialist at this point. He and zib need to be kept apart for as long as they are each here.
