I didn't know, thanks for posting!

Personally, I think it's a vast improvement. The only thing the old marquee had going for it was that it had been around for a long time.

Very nice new design. I used to work with a consultant whose office was at a lower floor there, the space was abysmal.

I hope they finish this project soon because right now with the scaffolding and construction going on around the arena, it’s a disaster especially entering and exiting.

Hell, I’m old enough to remember original Penn Station. Enough about nostalgia, build something beautiful and freshen the space. The area around The Garden as it is now constituted never qualified as beautiful.

And you want to be sad about something? How about the 100 story building being proposed across the street on the Hotel Pennsylvania site. Ugh!
