More horrible player: Pacioretty or Vanek?

Pacioretty. Vanek is at least creating the potential for offense now. Pacioretty has been doing a whole of watching DD and Gallagher work their tails off while he stays back waiting for them to win a puck battle and feed him the puck. Pacioretty has barely any hockey sense. Doesn't know what a tip-in is, doesn't know how to use his teammates. Only thinks about the 1-on-0 breakaways that rarely pop up. The only thing Pacioretty is doing better than Vanek is backchecking. Pacioretty is a faux sniper while a "hot" Cammalleri is an example of what snipers need to do in order to find the back of the net.

this is a tough one, Vanek is more talented but patches puts in more effort both are terrible in big games, both terrible at olympics both terrible in nhl playoffs

Also, the team should just treat Patches like a 2nd liner. He probably just can't handle being a 1st liner in the POs. It's a shame.
