Funny how Halak gets no credit for making the save.

When a shot hits the top end of a stick, no credit to goalie for that as it's a fluke. The only thing that can be saluted is, as previously mentioned, his positioning. But Plekanec had him beat.

Plekanec has been historically terrible on shoot outs and breakaways. MT chooses him over Bournival for the PS.

Plekanec is actually pretty good at breakaways considering he's a mediocre puck handler. But his strength is getting interceptions and beating the goalie before they are ready. He's completely worthless on SOs though, all he does is try and get off a shot as quickly as possible - something that works in games but not there.

All things considered getting at least a point is pretty huge considering how horrible of a matchup this is for us.
