Time for the goalies union to band together on this guy and go all Lucic on him. That big goal stick consistently applied to the nether regions should get his attention. he needs to be told by all goalies that if I think you are starting to take liberties your are getting this goalie stick in the nuts. After facing that night after night he will reform his ways. Gotta agree with Halak's agent, we keep list of divers- how about a list of guys that take goalies out?

That's gonna be one hell of a big, emotional game.

Two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference who met each other in the playoffs last year when one of their players crashed into our goalie injuring him for the rest of the playoffs?

Dis gon' be gud

Apparently no lineup changes, was hoping to see Dumont again, and less Malhotra...

Nathan Beaulieu needs to pummel Mr. Kreider. That would be nice!

Actually, I have a dilemma regarding Beaulieu fighting. Since he's actually a very good player, I don't want him to fight because that means we lose him for 5 minutes.

But then again, he owns at fighting. So if he COULD beat up a guy like Kreider, it would be an entertaining thing to watch

What's the point in calling up Dumont if it's to bench him?

What's the point in calling up Dumont if it's to bench him?

Sekac begins season strong playing with Eller
->Sent to pressbox to get a different perspective of the game

Andrighetto starts with 3Pts in 3GP
->Demoted to 4th line before his 4th GP to make him a better person
->Eventually sent to Hamilton because he isn't productive

I think we're just going to skip the part where Dumont gets to play before we make him a better person. We are going to win the better person cup this year, I can feel it. (He might just be up in case of someone being a gametime decision due to an injury or illness)

Weise on the top line gets more depressing daily.

Weise is one of my faves, was one of a few here who liked the acquisition but you have to know when to cut your losses. he is decent for short spurts but more than that, he becomes a black hole for scoring lines.

Need for a top 6 forward is getting critical

Big game. Let's see if the guys can rebound after a loss... ehm, no that was a win. Was it? Anyway, the Rangers are a good team (that I find a tad overrated on HFBoards, a bit like our own Canadiens) and it's always a big test. The last time they met the Canadiens played one of the worst game of the season in a 0-5 loss.

When was the last time we lost by that big a margin? Was it the game against Pittsburgh like a month and a half ago?

Anyway, I hope we're not due to lose one like that tonight... It would really suck, especially against the Rangers...

I could not agree more. Weise is a 3rd/4th line on a contender

Looking at the standings in the East... there's a clear gap between Boston and Florida. It's getting pretty obvious who are making it and who aren't. It's also a reminder that there are 14 teams in the West and 16 teams in the East which is always dumb.

Florida does have 3 games in hand though.

The main thing is to get points from the games in hand the Habs have over Detroit and Tampa Bay. Taking Kreider out for 5 minutes along with Beaulieu would accomplish nothing and lose something important if the Habs lose the game.
