Halak played tonight so chances are he'll wimp out again or coache's decision not to play him back to back. Either way won't be an easy game and things will only get harder in Florida. Not looking good for the upcoming schedule.

I'm glad Pateryn drew back into the line-up, because I thought he was excellent near the end of his stint.

However, I do not like it at the expense of Beaulieu.

Or even Gilbert for that matter. Frankly, I don't see a reason to keep either of them in the lineup over Beaulieu if this team has any hope of progressing. How they keep blabbering about transition and proceed to take away chances from our youngsters is beyond me.

Teams on back to backs always have strong 1st periods and then fade off. The Montreal Canadiens are one of the worst 1st period teams in the league and can't score goals to save their lives.

I think then NHL is better for DLR's development. He's playing some good minutes and getting some good chances, he'll pick up his offensive game eventually.
