Hah, true. I can understand being a goalie homer if you play goalie. I can't understand trying to downplay other goalies time and time again, though. It's really ridiculous.

Like I said in the previous thread, I'm not sure I've EVER seen nevesis give credit to another team's goalie.

The kid has played well for them tonight, and the only reason we're not up 3-0 at this moment.

Even though I quit, I suddenly need a cigarette really badly lol.

Yup Nash has been good tonight. People will whine because he's not on the score sheet.

He never has. He can never fault Hank and he can never give credit to another goalie. Ever. It makes no sense to me unless he is trying to make Hank look better by proxy (either on purpose or not even noticing himself doing it).

Score should be 6-2 if not for that kid.

You missed the part in my post where I said:

Majority of the shots on goal have been LOW quality chances, and he's making the routine saves.

Routine saves don't mean the goalie is stealing the game.

I'll say guys, barring another fluke goal or some bad non-call on goal by the refs, even if we lose at least we didn't lose like THAT.

To be honest I don't think he made any really good saves. Most were bad shots that he didn't have to do anything outrageous to stop. Even the last MSL shot that he gloved was only at around mid height of the net. I'm not sure why Marty didn't top shelf any of those tries.
