With the Habs in a bad situation with the center position at the moment. I also seen that the Bruins fans posting on here they were would be looking for LHD as they are filled with RHD at the moment. With talks of Spooner being shopped.

Any chance of a deal around:

Beaulieu
Barberio

For

Spooner
Morrow

?

Or switch Barberio with someone else? Carr / Andrighetto ?

I know Montreal and Boston don't really ever deal, but figured there is needs for both sides.

Barberio is worthless and Beaulieu is trending that way too (still a glimmer of hope there though). If our arch rivals want to do us a favour more fool them but I don't see it happening.

stop claiming such stupidities. Beaulieu has been decent thus far.

He was very shaky next to Weber and has been passable on the third pairing. The telling thing for me is that, when playing with Hanley instead of Pateryn he really struggled. If he can't even anchor the third pairing its not promising moving forward. This is coming from someone who thought he would be a staple in the top 4 going forward.

Pass. Bruins have enough 5/6 d men. Spooner easily the best player in the deal.

Terrible for Boston, those guys are not anything other than 3rd pairing guys and that isn't what Boston needs

You seem like the kind of guy that hates Beaulieu because he's not playing in the top 4.
You are also inventing some bs for some reason.

Beaulieu did not look shaky with Weber. He looked fine and the reason they decided to put Emelin there instead is because Emelin was having a really good start of season. So they promoted Emelin on the 1st pairing and Beaulieu started playing on the 3rd pairing. He had a bad game here and there, but in general he looked good.
And you really think that Beaulieu was the one struggling on the 3rd pair and not Pateryn/Hanley? :help:
Hanley was plain awful and Pateryn was the same when he lost his confidence.
There's a reason why Beaulieu was never scratched, but Hanley and Pateryn got scratched and benched several times.
