Therrien ought to have been fired after that crapshow in the playoffs. No amount of injuries to the forwards could account for such a sophomoric coaching performance.

As far as I'm concerned, if this team keeps playing this defensive scheme, we won't win. And it'll be yet another lost season.

DD's ice time isn't that bad. 14-15 minutes seems normalish for a 3rd line.

The 4th line has been severely overplayed this game and at least one of them has been on the ice for every goal against.

Take 2 1/2 minutes off the 4th line, give it to Eller's line, and you're good.

Our 4th line is on pace for like 12-13 minutes. Gross.

Aye. I wouldn't have as much of an issue with DD and Bouillon's icetime if Therien was playing the other, significantly better, lines. Unfortunately, he seems oblivious to who good Eller has been.

For the same reasons he extended Desharnais for 4 more years at 3.5M per season and signed Moen, a marginal fourth liner, at a so ridiculous contract..

I think they can "afford" having an anglo coach as long as Bergevin is there, hes a franco with charisma and can calm down the media
