Iafallo not seeing any PP time and Danault on the 2nd unit were two huge positives from last night.

It really doesn’t matter which of the RH shots they have on the #1 unit, there is no way they can be worse on the PP than Danault was last season. And it also adds some balance with 2 RH shots. Now if only they could just finally end the Doughty on the PP stuff. If you are going to dress Durzi and deal with the bad stuff he brings, at least put him on the #1 PP where he is just at another level better than Doughty. Let Drew get more time 5 on 5 and on the PK where he is an asset.

The Kings will never demote Kopitar or Doughty. It took a lot for them to move Brown down and I dont think either Kopitar or Doughty will reach that low of a performance level. There will come a time where there are better options in their current roles and we can start seeing that as early as this year like you said on pp1. Very interesting to see if the team is changing leadership hands and if it is allowed to happen.

Does LA run the point man system on the PP or the two men back? If it's the point man, I don't want Durzi anywhere near the PP.
