Decent starts from both NYY and NYM!

Shocked at how well the Mets staff have pitched. It's early but Stearns seemed to know how to cobble together a solid staff.

Almost just as shocked at how poorly they have been hitting considering all of the hype around the batting lineup potentially being one of the best in baseball. Alonso has really saved them so far.

I’m equally surprised by the good pitching and bad hitting. Hopefully MCNeill and Alvarez are back soon. The bottom of the lineup is bad most games.
