This isn't true, though. Their high point of the season was when they swept the White Sox, one of the best teams in baseball, at the tail end of winning 12 out of 15 and 22 out of 30 games, beating some great teams and pitchers along the way. Then they proceeded to lose 9 of their next 13 games.

They have no consistency.
There isn't going to be much consistency when the lineup is filled with low batting average sluggers.

I still remember when Harvey got suspended by the Mets for not showing up to the park. He was up all night getting hammered because he was sad that Adriana Lima was out on a date with Julian Edelman lmfao.

The 2017 season was so f***ing dumb
I said at the time that that they should trade him....Mets could have gotten a decent bat or two (which they needed so badly at the time).

The Mets claimed Nick Tropeano which I suggested they do a week ago. Hopefully we don't see Peterson in his next turn, and he can go down to AAA to work on his game.

Is there anybody on the Yankees pitching staff who can tell Boone that Chappie looks like a dog pile and perhaps go a different direction.
He was looking bad from pitch one.
Body language
everything.

Horrible approach by Smith. I never get that. The guy is on the ropes after back to back walks? The last guy he walked on four pitches? And you go up there swinging at the first pitch. It's crazy. I know the logic is you think you're going to get a fat one over the plate, but man, you better be damn sure.

It’s the same mindset as swinging 3-0. “Probably gonna be the juiciest pitch I’ll see, let’s swing for the fences.”

Not a big baseball fan but deGrom is must see tv.
If the Mets can make the playoffs this year anything is possible with that guy in your rotation

Rojas is going get a lot of grief if the Mets bullpen blows this lead. deGrom was cruising.

I just watched his velo and his body language that last inning and something looked...off. I hope it's just as was said above, a blister or just feeling fatigued or something benign like that.

It’s gonna be the first question after the game, the Mets might as well issue a statement now
