Thats why, unfortunate as it is, we will need Cole to carry the burden of trying to go 7 innings.

I 100% agree. His swing looks very long, lethargic, and slow. He isn’t getting inside the ball enough, not able to drive the knob of the bat through the zone tight to the body. He cant be in the 2 spot getting extra ABs in big spots.

He's not an all or nothing guy. That makes a difference against quality pitching.

Judge's postseason #'s where up there with the greats this far into his career before his recent slump, so I wouldn't give up on him yet. I have a suspicion he's playing injured though.

That's another problem. He's always injured.

I'm not as high on Judge as some other people, so while I'd be kind of sad if we didn't retain him long term at the same time he's not far off from 30 and has had one complete season. Just has disaster written all over it
