Luis Rojas deserves a Purple Heart for getting through this season.

Seriously it's comical and if there ever was a sign from the universe that its time for the Wilpons to GTFO, it's this.

Isn't he one of those "modern" managers who gets the lineup card and managerial decisions handed down to him from the font office? How much of it is really his fault?
I'm not sure but that's the only guy we can blame righ now

how do you figure that? Whether it was from breaking protocol or they just got it either way if one player has it then odds are multiple players have it. It doesn't matter where they got it it matters that they have it

It definitely seems to matter. The Reds case was due to a family member infecting a player and nobody else on the team got it. Same for Chapman and Soto. The Cards and Marlins went to clubs or bars in groups which is why so many got infected. Asymptomatic spread is starting to look as if it’s not as significant as was once thought so I’m hopeful this ends here or at worst only 1-2 more

I have a hunch Rojas will not be here in 2021. No fault of his own but if Cohen is the ultimate buyer I can’t imagine the new GM keeps him on unless the team performs very well this year.

Indians players broke protocol and lied and no one had it. Point is if you put yourself in a bad situation you risk infection for yourself and teammates, and if you follow protocols you lower the risk tremendously. Watching teammate and player interactions in dugouts there's no question it's playing with fire if anyone on the team has it, completely regardless of how they got it...

The question remains, how many players actually got SICK?

They still have only said 2 confirmed, But they are obviously people with direct access to players or they are players, otherwise MLB wouldn't cancel 4 games already.

6 games in 4 days?

This is how players get hurt.
Gleyber and Judge coming off the IL into this schedule

Porcelain throwing batting practice again.

I can’t wait for Cohen to fire BVW.
When we thought the top four was going to be deGrom-Syndergaard-Stroman-Matz, I thought bringing in Porcello and Wacha was actually pretty solid. Losing Thor and Stro and Matz being shit made Porcello an important piece of the rotation which he obviously can't be. Tough to totally pin that on BVW, though.

Anyway, I'm lukewarm on BVW but don't really care what happens. He's done some good things and one really bad thing, IMO. If he's fired I won't shed any tears.

Cole is getting lit up.3 bombs against him so far.Hes allowed 1 stinker though

Guys played double headers for years... 6 games in 4 days after days off shouldn’t be grueling for professional athletes. Don’t forget you have a DH spot, a ton of pitchers, and everyone over 30 will probably sit in one of the double headers. I’m more concerned with what the issue is with the Yanks medical/coaching staff that makes it seem like guys are held together by toothpicks and gum.
