A-Rod getting wrecked from all angles
There's only 4 that I can think of. Who am I missing?Mets tryna go for an entire team of former Yankees.
Bold strategy.
Bob Cano, Eduardo Nunez, Dellin Betances, Melky Cabrera, Chasen Shreve, and Justin Wilson. There's only 4 that I can think of. Who am I missing?
Good chance that neither Shreve nor Cabrera make it.Bob Cano, Eduardo Nunez, Dellin Betances, Melky Cabrera, Chasen Shreve, and Justin Wilson.
So it's 6. I thought it was 7 but I forgot Swarzak moved on
Yeah for sure, it was just weird seeing all the familiar names.Good chance that neither Shreve nor Cabrera make it.
Yup. I feel like the larger, more successful teams always have lots of guys around the league. As they're always in contention, they're constantly adding smaller (or even larger) pieces that they later cut loose. They're also good at developing players and as such develop more players than the lesser teams.Yeah for sure, it was just weird seeing all the familiar names.
He benefitted immensely from a system that the MLBPA fought tooth and nail to create and preserve. Now that he's trying to become an owner himself, that system that allowed him to become one of the richest athletes in history is a bad thing that needs to be changed? Come on.I fail to see how A-Rod saying there should be a salary cap is an issue. He's right. There should be one. And the fact that he was the highest paid player in his day has nothing to do with the discussions. He was offered those deals should he have turned them down and asked for less?
Playing it for nobody is the most American shit I've ever seenlmfao still doing God Bless America even with no one in the stands? This is the perfect time to ditch this awful segment once and for all.
Yeah they aren't on the roster so I didn't even think of them.Good chance that neither Shreve nor Cabrera make it.
Are you talking about Derek Jeter or A-rod?He benefitted immensely from a system that the MLBPA fought tooth and nail to create and preserve. Now that he's trying to become an owner himself, that system that allowed him to become one of the richest athletes in history is a bad thing that needs to be changed? Come on.

All he has talked about the past several months is the need for harmony between players and owners and the need to just get something done. Why didn't he take that position when he was playing? Because he wanted to get every last dollar he could (as was his right). Same guy that simultaneously sued the MLBPA and MLB because of his own personal misdeeds and repeated lies. He's an opportunist who will do and say whatever he thinks he needs to do to benefit himself, everyone else be damned.
