I don’t know if this is true. Gives Lindor more time to rest, and the Royals (Braves) are a harder series than the Brewers (Mets).

I'd say it's advantage D-Backs. They know if they put up 3 wins in their last 4, there is a good chance they make it. It's a race to 90 wins and they have the most cracks at it first.

The Mets can make this a moot point by going to Milwaukee and winning. Kansas City is playing for their season, the Brewers are not. Phillies and Dodgers can win their games and the Brewers have nothing to play for.

Also I know a lot of people shit on the NHL for things they do, but the MLB is next level when it comes to schedules and not doing anything about poor weather. Everyone knew this was possible. There should have been contingency options to move the games to a dome.

I get that it's a playoff push and you're taking an advantage away from the Braves, but now you're killing both teams. Someone will have a Monday doubleheader for their season and a Tuesday ROAD playoff game 1.
I saw this only because of the brutal travel schedule the Mets know have to undertake. And when they win on Monday, the have fly to home of playoff opponent for series start on Tuesday.

Padres up 5-0 in the 9th.

If they close that out it'll zap this Mets corpse with some pretty good shock paddles.
The Mets are somehow going to lolmets themselves into the playoffs. What a world.

So, if I'm correct, if Backs lose tomorrow, Mets get WC3 no matter what they do.
No, if Arizona loses tomorrow, the Mets need one win.
