*WARNING ALL FINNS: The GDT may be Swedish themed*
It is the first away game of the season for the Wild. 31,345 - (~)550 = (~)30,795 miles will be left to travel.
Last game played between the Wild and Red Wings ended 6-0 in favor for the Red Wings.
The Red Wings have been troubled with injuries. There's a few who could possibly lay their skates on the
ice tonight (*) but the list is rather long;
Marco Scandella and Jared Spurgeon are out for the Wild because of injuries.
Tonight's the night many of us Wild fans have been waiting for. We've already got to see Parise, Suter and Granlund in action but one anticipated fellow has yet to represent the Wild. That fellow is no other than Swedish defenseman Jonas Brodin (age 19). This mobile and good puck moving defenseman has established himself as one of the top prospects in the world. He (most likely) will get debut tonight in the arena of one his biggest idols Nicklas Lidström. Kim Johnsson was the last Swede to play for the Wild (2010)
