All Minnesotans want to live in their lake houses and play professional hockey part-time. I don’t agree with signing these guys. I want guys more focused on success, not semi-retirement.Absolute steal. He must love it there.
If you'd have told me eleven years ago that Alex Goligoski would be the best piece of that Pens-Stars deal......well, I would've loved to believe it but at the time I sure as hell didn't.
I think he probably has the best longevity however Neal probably had the best peak though short.
I totally forgot he was involved Scratch that.Well he's absolutely got the most longevity, considering Nisky retired two seasons ago and Neal seems to be getting by purely on PTOs. Looks to be in the minors currently.
Curious little statistical quirk, re: Neal, though, now that I'm checking his hockeydb page.....dude has bounced around five different teams since leaving Pittsburgh.....but he hasn't once missed the playoffs since the initial trade.
Must be a good luck charm or something, Blues should keep that in mind.
Minnesota's cap situation for the next few years means that virtually any addition has larger implications. Signing Greenway kind of seemed like the final nail in Fiala's coffin for that reason. Most of us are trying to figure out which coffin this nail is landing in, because there aren't many good candidates left.An excellent deal for Minnesota. The takes on the Wild-board are scary, though. It sounds like he was given a 13-year 100 mill deal there.
Guy is at a 40 point pace as well. Majority of the points at ES. Not sure you'll find too many guys with that kind of production for that price.I know people hate +/-, but anybody giving you a +34 is absolutely worth that contract.

I think, given the rising cap hit, the contract is not too bad, although it's not a steal, either.Wild's tweet about this signing has more than a 1,000 likes. The Wild board on this site is perhaps not the best source, I'd say a small group of people are behind most of the posts there.
