Game of the season by the Oil so far. As complete an all zone effort as they've had. Give up zero EV goals, Skinner having his best game of the season. Everybody on board in this one. About the only player not looking good is Ryan.

I'm gonna eat crow on Podkolzin. I'll eat the idiot sandwich and enjoy it with some nice mustard.

Really liking Kapanen's game. Small fill like that but man that guy can complement topsix cycle control in play. What a game by everybody.

PodK goals in 3 straight! The dam has broken.

Skinner was solid in net and even forward Skinner is looking better. I liked Emberson's game.. he's coming along nicely.

Agreed on Emberson, was paying extra attention to him tonight, very low event hockey on his part which is perfect for 3rd pairing minutes.

A solid game against a tough team. Always happy to see Podkolzin and Nuge score, they need the secondary goals. It can't be the top two pulling this team out of the fire every time. Kulak continuing with his impressive play, hell even Skinner made saves.

Really hoping Podkolzin continues this trajectory. Hard work can often go unnoticed and unrewarded. As an added side benefit, maybe a season long rejuvenation for Podkolzin here will help convince someone like Beryozkin to at least come over and try (they're even the same age). Beryozkin seems like he's comfortable staying where he is, but who knows.

Stetcher was excellent this game. His skating and zone outlets allow Nurse to be better. Saw a lot of Nurse/Stetcher this game- more than Kulak/Nurse. I said it at the start of this season with many folks hating on me for it- Stetcher is better than people thing
