Their prospect pool is strong enough so that Hudon, Scherbak, DLR, Andrighetto and others which will obviously be offered here don't make them even consider the deal.

Juulsen is probably fair value, but Columbus is one of the few teams in a great position on D going forward. Don't think these teams are a great match, at least in a trade when Columbus is giving up the prospect.

not even in the same area code...Milano is far more valuable to CBJ that that

Sonny (if moved) would probably be part of a package to upgrade somewhere (ex #1C)

What??? I'd move Milano for Gallagher in a microsecond. Montreal doesn't even consider that.

This. The value is bad for Montreal. Columbus is deep at wing so it'd be a move purely for value.

I don't see a trade which makes sense at the moment. Really what Columbus is lacking is a #1 C and I don't think one is available, much less for a trade which doesn't include Seth Jones.

It makes the most sense to hang onto Milano and see how he develops as well as how the overall roster develops.

Why exactly would a team give a #1C for Milano exactly? He hasn't lit up the AHL, Heck Sherback had a similar season in the AHL in terms of PPG (Milano = 0,57 ppg vs SHerback = 0,48) and Sherback had to battle through injuries all year...

Hudon-Ghetto-SHerback have probably just has much chance to make it in a team's top 6 then Milano has.

Not saying they have the same value, but it's not because Habs fan are trying to trade prospects in order to win now that they s*ck

Wait so you're saying that you'd rather have Milano than Gallagher??

Milano had a good AHL season and could become a solid offensive contributor at the next level, but Gallagher is a legit top 3-6 forward, who would have scored 30 had it not been for injuries. He's the heart and soul of our forward group, and I'd argue that he's the most untouchable player on the roster not named Carey Price.

If you want Gallagher, be prepared to massively overpay.

buhahaha

Gallagher is a top 3 possession winger in the NHL, look up his numbers.

on top of that hes a pest, he produces offensively AND hes on a sweet deal, try again.

Are you kidding me? Gallagher is worth much much more than Milano. Mtl would laugh at that proposal

Why bother saying no if you know nothing about players around the league, especially good ones like Gallagher :help:. Those comments literally nothing to the thread...

Gallagher's comparable value is something like Marchand, two similar players and both young and on a good contract. Marchand is of course more valuable due to his offense.

What would it cost??

What are the Jackets needs in term of prospect pool or young nhl ready players??

Um. There aren't any.

Milano's movable, but we just don't have any particular need for more youth, and he's not at a point where it would be realistic to offer him for roster assets. It therefore makes no sense to move him.
