In terms of adjusted points-per-game, they scored at almost an identical clip over their careers: .88 for Tanguay and .87 for Hejduk.

Hejduk was more productive in the playoffs (0.68 points-per-game average versus Tanguay's 0.60 points-per-game average).

I'll vote for Hejduk based on his superior playoff production and Rocket Richard trophy win.

Hejduk leads 18-1 in voting; therefore, he wins.
