Don’t see how another move isn’t coming given this cap hit - they can make it work, but…
It's 1.9 million, that's higher then a 2-way contract is allowed to be if my memory is correct. It's 100% 1-wayCan't find anywhere as to whether it's a one-way or two-way contract.
yeah, a tad more and just 1 yr? hmmmThat’s a fair bit more than I figured he’d get
Gotta be honest that number surprised me a bit.
By about 1M it looks like. This puts us over the cap with a 23 man roster, so Army must have something up his sleeve.
It’s only $100k or so. Need to subtract Rosen salary. Or 14th forward, depending on how you are calculating.By about 1M it looks like.
Can get a bit closer if have someone other than neighbours, but would make us weaker. Obviously someone gonna get dealt. Likely Marco or perhaps Krug.
100% agree.I suspect something is up, sooner than later. This is more than I would have wanted to pay Miko, puts us over cap, and walks him to free agency. Seems like only reason to do this deal now was for cost certainty (he is arb eligible) because that was needed for another move.
anyone have any idea what the asks were for ARB?That’s more than I was expecting. I can only assume the Blues didn’t like their chances in arbitration as with them being that tight up against the Cap, I would’ve expected them to fight more for something in the $1.3-1.5M range.
This will put them slightly over the Cap with a 23-man roster that includes Neighbors so I can only assume a trade will have to come. Will it be a big trade (Tarasenko/Krug) or a smaller one (Scandella, Barbashev…maybe even Mikkola himself as I agree with Moho that this situation seems very similar to the Edmundson situation)?
Have they been released? Deadline to file is later this afternoon.anyone have any idea what the asks were for ARB?
