Mikhail Grabovski Apprecation Thread

I don't think it's a big surprise to anyone that Grabo was brought out.
No doubt he had a poor season. But during the playoffs, even though the points don't show, he was a warrior.

Previous seasons he's been one of my favourite players, he was all heart.

He will be missed.

I am really gonna miss this guy, would have loved to see them give him one season to bounce back but really I just don't think they could live with the contract even if he played well. I'll never forget the game against Boston when he scored one of the nicest goals for us in a few years after getting crushed not once but twice.
Thanks for your heart, truly one of the hardest workers ever to put on the blue and white. Hell of a wrister too. I almost typed hopefully he goes to Detroit and has some success but not with them coming to our division lol. But hopefullyl he gets back to his old ways and has a great career. Loved Grabo.

Favourite memory of Grabo was the 360 spinorama and him scoring on Boston after being flatten by Chara twice.

He was physically dominated in the playoffs, and through his entire tenure with the Leafs. To his credit he always got up and kept on skating.

In a weird twist, I found out through capgeek, as I was messing around with the leafs roster and all of a sudden grabo came up as a ufa, while still being on my roster. Then I reset the whole thing and grabo was gone from the leafs, so I checked tsn, and sure enough.....

Kinda hope he goes to washington and wins a cup.

He'd look real friggin' good on a line next to Hornqvist, who has a knack for scoring garbage goals. Grabovski will do all the work and Hornqvist will finish. Get it done Poile!

He got a lot of undeserved hate last year, largely due to the contract that he signed.

He wasn't utilized very well under Carlyle yet you could tell he was working his ass off every night. When the rest of our team took games off against Boston, Grabo was trying to make something happen.

I know he'll generate a lot of interest around the league at a dollar value that is more appropriate. Good luck Grabo!
