Zibanejad's 5v5 P/60 is 3.03 with Kreider on the ice and 1.12 without Kreider.

His P/60 with Zucc is 2.76 and 1.60 without.

For reference a rate of 3.03 would put him 9th in the league between Patrice Bergeron (3.04) and Johnny Gaudreau (3.01).

Is it possible to ask how the stats show the other way around? How Zibanejad is affecting Kreider and Zucc performace?

So what you are saying is, Zucc and Kreider both make Zibanejad better. Who would have thought?

It's a pretty good combo of skill sets. Kreider with speed and puck hounding drives play north and gets everyone more touches and possession, Zib is obviously great all around, Zucc has the vision and playmaking.

100%, they are a very good mix, and it's not like it's just been these past few games, they have always played great when put together. Plus it helps to have that RH shot when Zucc is making plays as we saw against Boston.

Can't do the withouts right now (has to be done manually), but Kreider is 2.23 with Zib and 3.16 with Zucc, while Zucc is 2.96 with Zib and 4.31 (!) with Kreider.

Kreider has the highest overall 5v5 P/60 of the three (2.24), though Hayes has the highest on the team (2.26).

And this is so important for the line to have success, that's why he drives this line. Quinn said the same thing, as did Mika himself.

Really nothing to discuss,

Which makes the fact that how great he has produced away from him and had to produce when he was playing like utter dog poop pretty amazing.

I love what Mika is doing this season, I'm just hoping it isn't a fluke. PLEASE WE NEED THIS MIKA

No fluke but if he's going to be scoring goals at this pace he needs a playmaker on his wing. Whether thats Zucc, Panarin or Kravstov in the future

Jagr, Prucha, Nedved and Gaborik are all I can think of... what are the other 3

I love how this and the Kreider thread have been dead in 2019.

Go to work, dominate, go home. Nothing to talk about.

Mika and Kreider’s seasons have been one of the few bright spots to a rebuilding team this season. Really want these guys to be part of the core’s future and part of who the Rangers rebuild around.
