I think officially the Mika trade is better than the McDonagh trade.

Well one other thing that really makes the McDonagh trade stand out was not only did we get a stud D-man we also got rid of an albatross contract.

Jagr BTW is a very underrated player in team history. Before the cap and him the Rangers were basically the Knicks on ice. We threw big money at big names and put together rosters that didn’t make sense. Any stars we signed had already seen their best days.

Mika can help lead the rebuild and bring us back to the top of the league. He is so joyful too. Pure pleasure to watch and root for.

A few years ago, walked into the NHL store in NYC, this was when the Reebox jerseys were being phased out. There was a big sale going on with the authentic jerseys to make room for the Adidas line. So, I go to the counter, and ask for a Zibanejad jersey. The girl at the counter was like who is that? How do you spell that? Another salesperson comes over and asks me to spell it and said never heard of this guy he plays for the Rangers? I said have high hopes for him to be the future 1C for the Rangers. So it's cool that my jersey has special value to me. I don't think there are a ton of "Rangers" Mika Reebox jerseys out there.

I'm hoping to add a "C" on the chest this summer.
