I was not expecting Michigan to run over them like that, and even if tOSU thought about making a game, Haskins just run over them. I really was expecting tOSU to win, and nope, UM came out with a big win.

Harbaugh finally got his win over Ohio. And the CFP has more chaos on its hands, I feel this win would have to put UM in the top 4.

Still need to win the B1G championship, they would put in Cincinnati or Notre Dame over a 2 loss Michigan.

I’d go with Story or Semien before Baez for sure.

Not to get this knocked off Michigan, but I don’t think I’d go with Semien based on age.

I would almost consider not spending big dollars on anyone if Baez was my primary option.

I think they’ll be 2

Hutch will look amazing in Honolulu Blue.

After that game I think hes rated number one on a lot of boards over Thiibodeaux.

Lots of bad takes in this thread, Michigan was more dominant than the score suggested too

Love my Michigan alum family...

Me: "Hey, Michigan won..."
Them: "But they lost to MSU."

No offense to you or your family but they must be casual fans that don’t really care about Michigan Football. Obviously no Wolverine fan wants to lose to State, but right now that is such a minor thought to true fans that it almost doesn’t matter (almost). Michigan finished 11-1, won the East, and is going to play for the B1G Championship. I would bet State fans would love to switch places right now, I am on cloud 9.

This. My days as an undergrad in Ann Arbor were toward the end of the Carr era, after the last national title. Back then, the UM-OSU rivalry was still a fairly even back and forth. It wasn't long after that the scales truly tipped, and it's certainly been painful ever since. Given the recent history between the two, the 10 years since our last win, and the fact this game propels Michigan into the B1G title game and possibly a playoff spot.... I couldn't give two shits about the loss to Sparty at this point. Sucked at the time given the circumstances, they're certainly a top-3 rival, but that game is so far in the rear-view mirror now, turns out the loss means nothing, I just..... yeah don't care lol.

Awesome win by Michigan today. It was really great to see the inlaws enjoy a win for a change (big UM fans).

Depends entirely on the term if we're going with Semien, though I also lean more towards your idea of not spending big dollars if it's not Correa. Honestly, I'd look at Andrelton Simmons on a short deal and look for better D from the position. If we get anything at the plate, but if not...eh. If we're looking at Tork being up from the start, maybe move Schoop back to 2b and go after someone like Schwarber mostly to add a bat.

What I don't get is that Baez's rumored ask is 6/$200m right? And Correa's was expected to be around 10/$300m? The yearly cost would look to be pretty similar, so just swallow the extra years and get the better guy.
