This is so sad. So young and when youve seen them since they were really young like her from Harriet The Spy and from then on, its almost like they are always a little kid to you. Loved her in Buffy and especially in Eurotrip where she stole that movie, She was so good in it.

RIP Michelle.

Damn, beautiful woman, so young still. Such a shame. I loved Harriet the Spy as a kid, and remember her from Eurotrip, of course. But haven’t heard much about her or seen her in anything in recent years, so this comes as a total shock. RIP

Rest in peace, life seems really difficult for so many child stars. So much pressure at a young age, oftentimes with a lack of parental supervision and the star being chaperoned by someone who may not have the kid's best interests in heart. Plus access to a big bank account at age 18 before they've really developed the wisdom to spend responsibly.

I could have sworn she was also Topanga in Boy Meets World, but guess I was totally wrong on that one

I don’t think that was the issue at all, she had some health issues and had a liver transplant

I read she had the liver transplant due to alcoholism. Don't know if that's accurate though. I noticed she's done very little acting since she turned 30. Loved her in Eurotrip tho. RIP

She had done 2 episodes of Gossip Girl and I believe a web series and voiced a documentary
