I hope McCarron becomes a John Leclair, you can see he has hands around the net, he just needs to improve his balance, but in the 2 games I saw from him he gets himself open in front of the net and can make plays. I see him more like a power forward down low, big presence in front of the net and along the boards. Cant really comment on his deking skills but they dont seem too bad.
Wheeler has wheels and isnt a typical power forward, more like a finesse player in a tall frame, never really noticed a physical game from him. Wheeler has better hands and will move the puck himself in the offensive zone with his speed, or recover loose pucks on dump ins and that is something McCarron will have to work on, because it's obvious that he's a little bit slow out there.
