I caught this on YouTube and thought it was an entertaining watch. Michael Franzese, former mob capo for the Colombo crime family, befriended Bruce McNall through former Pens owner Howard Baldwin.

Hilarious how many times he calls McNall “a great guy” and totally minimizes the con man McNall was and how Bruce screwed many out of large dollars.

^^ He may have screwed people out of a lot of money and eventually put the Kings in a position where they were bankrupted (or close to it, I was too young to know anything about it at the time) but people seemed to like him a lot. Didn't Gretzky refuse to have his jersey retired by the Kings until McNall was out of prison so that he can attend the ceremony? That speaks a lot about the person.

Good video. I like the way Franzese told his story.
