I knew he would be a good pickup in the off-season but this is unbelievable. His chemistry with Marner and Matthews is insane.
Tempering expectations is always good. If he was a slam dunk he would have got more than 900k or whatever.Yup, to anyone paying attention it was a perfect fit. Unfortunately our resident Mod was mocking anyone who believed this “AHL signing” would be an effective top 6 player.

Not sure you should be hammering anyone for a bad opinion, you’ve literally been called out for flat out lying about black and white facts (that or you were ignorant and still debating with what you pulled out your ass)
Love people mocking Mess for specific details when the big picture has been exactly as he and so many have said it would… yet you and others find a small victory somewhere and will beat your chest with 3 years of egg dripping off your face!

thats a horrible take. William can drive a line, bunting on his own cannot. I love bunting, but lets not forget who really showed up when it mattered the most.Bunting is playing like a 6 million dollar player. He is already more valuble to this team over Nylander. I trust Bunting and know he will compete the same way in the playoffs. He has an excellent compete level.
Has turned out great, kids a beauty.Yup, to anyone paying attention it was a perfect fit. Unfortunately our resident Mod was mocking anyone who believed this “AHL signing” would be an effective top 6 player.
If Bunting outright leads all rookies by 8-10 points, do you give him the calder?
Bunting won't since he's on a standard (non entry level) contract. Can someone answer this. If Bunting wins the Calder, does he get some kind of bonus that would result in him being a much higher caphit?
Bunting going to have a 15G 25A performance this year. Solid top 9 player finally getting a chance. Bookmark this post.

I agree. But I also understand the pessimism and complete lack of confidence in this administration's decision making. They've made some incredibly stupid decisions in a remarkably short period of time and now seem poised to start hemorrhaging even more assets to try and fix the problems either directly or indirectly created by prior mistakes. This doesn't inspire confidence. Theres too many moving parts in an organization to possibly be right about everyone but the general direction has been pretty clear for Mess and so many others.Tempering expectations is saying “let’s see how he performs before we get excited” not criticizing management for believing an “AHL player signed to league minimum” can be an effective solution in our top 6.
Also, I’d love to hear more about the bolded?
As for Mess, have fun defending the guy who believed Kase was signed to be LTIRetired for extra cap space.
