You are, actually, correct. For all of the US viwers the game will start on Feb 24th. Only for a small portion of North Americans (in the Atlantic Zone of Canada), the game will start on Feb 25th.

I don’t understand why the whole tournament they have had a 10PM EST start time and now they’re shifting the gold medal games (men’s and women’s) to 11PM EST

100% I will still want to watch...but as I work all weekend I would take a vacation day to watch Canada in a gold medal hockey game....
