L'Heureux was being a punk all game and deserved some kind of action against him. Timo probably didn't deserve a major penalty and a game misconduct, but he should have gotten some kind of penalty.

In any case, that was a masterful penalty kill that followed. One shot for both teams and the Devils got the better scoring chance on theirs.

L'Heureux f'd around and found out. Had a bit of a dirty play on Cotter earlier in the game and seemed to be generally agitating Devils players. That being said, I don't think Meier meant to cross-check him to the face like that, but it was a well-earned game misconduct. Probably just a fine comes from this.

Wound up working out well for the Devils. They killed off the ensuing 5 minute major giving up just one shot on goal and had the best scoring chance on a shorthanded 2-on-1. All remaining 10 forwards got a shift on that PK. The building was rocking when they killed off the major.

5 and a game misconduct is DEF warranted if his stick crosschecked the guys face .. I was wondering why the guy went down so fast and the ref is right there to see it

Injury? Hard crosscheck to face after whistle that injures? Thats gotta be reviewed but nothing much

Dylan Demelo absolutely rocked L'Heureux the other night not too far into the game. L'Heureux was trying to start something with Mason Appleton off the opening faceoff so I think Demelo took his number down and ran his ass over when the opportunity presented itself. I can't remember the last time Demelo threw a hit that big in open ice... it was glorious!
