Who’s getting 8-9 million? No from the sharks, although I will admit Nylander is better
We will have cap crunch as it is if Karlsson decides to sign long term without adding a guy likely to get 8-9 million. Meier is likely to get a bridge deal for 3-4 million shortly.
If Karlsson does not resign after the deadline then hell yes I would do it
A player with a career high 61 points apparently...Who’s getting 8-9 million?
If Nylander is traded (he won't be) it will be for defense. To Leafs
Meier
To Sharks
Nylander
Leafs get a power forward to go with their skill forwards.
Sharks- Get a skilled forward who can play the wing or centre. Might be a smart move as centre Thornton will likely retire at the end of the year.
Again, this in no way addresses a need for Toronto. If Nylander is moved....think defense. As a DRW fan I would consider offering
1) Zadina (future RW replacement)
2) nYQUIST (temp replacement)
(both for Kneelander)
good for wings for 2c behind larkin. Decent for leafs because get legit RW fire power to play with matthews now and for years to come at a lower cap hit.

Braun+Meier for Nylander+Holl/Carrick would make sense IMO.
What on earth.
You can definitely move other salaries. This deal would be a big talent win. You could also bridge him during the Thornton window.
