First tiebreaker is regulation wins, second tiebreaker is regulation+ot wins. They each have 29 rw's right now, Habs have 37 rw/ot wins to BJ's 33.
Yeah I realized that and deleted my post. You’re right

It’s like selling a kidney, one time only.

And 1) CBJ is better story 2) it’d be so f***ing funny if the Canes ended Montreal’s season. 3) Habs fans have plenty to be happy about. They’ll have many good years, let CBJ happy this.

We may actually get to see the "pull the goalie while tied in regulation" scenario.
Considering the Islanders woeful offense and the form Jet Greaves is in, I don't see it happening. Clb is winning this I am sure of that.

Habs have their destiny in their hand and will get a 2nd chance after the massive disappointment against the Hawks. Can't ask for a better learning opportunity.

Good thread. The NHL regular season is there for one reason only. To see who does and doesn't get into the playoffs. Seeding is pretty much meaningless among the sixteen who are in as are (obviously) things such as home-ice, divisional titles or even the President's Trophy.

Playoffs should be 2-2-3 for a number of reasons. One being the seeding would matter somewhat and home ice would go from "not there" to at least "noticeable" in the post-season.

My Best-Carey
