Can we wait until we know who players are playing with and what role they are playing? Actually can we wait until they actually make the team?

Everyone is in a rush to make these and the prospect post when they would be a lot more accurate if we literally waited 1 more week. How can we judge how many points he's going to have when we don't even know whos he's playing with or what role he will be in lol

Zegras already got injured before the season even started and he's probably going to miss time but we already voted lol

TLDR: Let's wait until we atleast see where people are playing, in what roles, with what players to vote otherwise it's just a random ass guess, what if somehow McTavish doesn't even make the team lol

I went with 45 points. Once McTavish gets acclimated to NHL play and pace, then he'll probably be scoring. I know he had a tendency to score in bunches in all other leagues. He did dominate at the NL-B after 6 games of being non-descript and turned it one even more in the NL-B playoffs, as a winger.

I will buy his jersey instantly if he scores 45 points this year.

Yah this is pissing me off. He is not giving pp Time.. Than again he needs to learn to defend too..

McTavish has looked very underwhelming to me. Seems like a step behind in the play and that's likely from thinking and hesitating too much. I wish he could go to San Diego. He needs it. Zegras needed it also.

In fairness to McT, the entire line wasn't great last night - Lundy and Grimaldi didn't do much of anything either so it's not like there were plays dying on his stick all night. I don't think he will produce much without playing with other scorers. i don't see him as a play driver or somebody who dictates play at least at this point in his career.

Part is also that he's trying to catch up with everybody to get his legs underneath him. He had a set back and it must add to the difficulty.

But what I was suspecting before and it looks more clear to me now (I hope he proves me wrong), I doubt he will be in the Calder race.

I wonder if we'll see him in San Diego for a conditioning stint to start the season just like last year.

McTavish has had six multi-point games so far this season.

He’s on pace for well over 40 as it is, if he sticks in the 1C spot I think the mid 50s is in play.

If the team keeps McTavish with Rico and Terry, then we might be able to see more multi-point games from McTavish to reach the 50 point mark or higher.

It's great to see he's adjusted so well the last month or so. I think he's really been blossoming into a great player and I'm happy I've been wrong about drafting him in his slot.

Im glad I was wrong about him being ready to play center at this level. I dont want to give him the Fowler curse of comparing him to a HOF player but his vision reminds me of Getz. He sees the ice really well and is able to make some great passes. Passes arent as showy as Getz yet, but hes seeing the holes and lanes.

He could end up with 40+ points if they keep Terry with him.
He's already on pace for 50+ and that includes the majority of the season where he was playing a bottom 6 role. Tough not to get too excited, especially when I figured he'd finish with 26-30 points. He's already there and we're just at the halfway point through the season.
