pretty much just stating he's a comfortable/soft gm he doesn't push his club and they don't see him around (in his own words of course/knickname being 'the Senator').

Did you try the second link? I did notice the first one worked on my tablet but not my desktop but the second one takes you to the Jeff Blair page with the actual link to listen (try clicking the heading 'The Jeff Blair Show - March 18 - 11am'). I also notice clicking 'play now' isn't working - wonder if it is a site issue.

Just interesting how we are getting so many via the media chiming in on the Sharks at this time. Some interesting and others not so much of course.

The general point McSorley made is that DW has created a "comfortable environment" for the Sharks' players which doesn't push guys like Clowe to elevate his game every night, and maybe under nightly pressure from a coach like Tortorella in the East his game would rise to a new physical + skill level.

Money quote: "San Jose has gotten really comfortable. They lose easy, you know, with Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau there. I'm just not sure if they've challenged themselves there, and Doug Wilson has definitely not challenged them."

Probably some truth to it but he was fired by the Sharks and has an axe to grind.

I don't believe Marty has an axe to grind with the Sharks. Marty is a straight up person and speaks his mind and truth. Many do not know the truth behind him leaving the Sharks. Marty spoke his mind, Sharks didn't like it. Mutual ending on both Sharks and Marty.
